A mother and daughter pair — 49-year-old Cheryl Wright of Kentland, Maryland and 31-year-old Jasmine Wright of D.C. — are charged with the fatal stabbing of the mother's 68-year-old boyfriend.
Investigators say Daniel Gregory Thompson was stabbed during an argument inside a home in the 6700 block of W. Forest Road in the early morning hours of October 15.
He was taken to the hospital and died of his injuries two days later, on October 17.
Cheryl Wright is in the custody of the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections. Jasmine Wright is in custody in D.C. pending extradition to Prince George’s County.
They are each charged with first-and second-degree murder.
