Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati officials announced additional plans for the casino's official grand opening. Pete Rose, former Cincinnati Reds player and manager, will be placing the inaugural table game bet as well as taking part in the Guitar Smash.The casino will re-open on Oct. 29 at 11 a.m. The grand opening will begin with the Guitar Smash, including celebrities such as Rose, Tucker Barnhart, Drew Lachey, Kathy Wade, and others. Rose will then place the first bet at the casino and autograph a specially made guitar for the Hard Rock Casino memorabilia collection. “We know our grand opening will be a big hit with the Hit King Pete Rose and Earth, Wind and Fire here to celebrate with our guests,” said George Goldhoff, president of Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati. “The Hard Rock Casino brand is globally recognized as a leader in gaming and entertainment. We know our guests will be delighted with our new restaurant, retail, and gaming experiences.”The festivities will continue with a live performance by Grammy award-winning group Earth, Wind, and Fire. Tickets are on sale.
