Emmy Rossum appeared to be in good spirits on set of the upcoming Angelyne — Peacock's miniseries based on the busty blonde who rose to fame after posing provocatively on a series of iconic billboards spread throughout Hollywood.
The on set snaps comes shortly after her former costar Emma Kenney opened up about Rossum’s shocking exit from Showtime’s Shameless in 2019, with the 22-year-old spilling that she was happy when her former costar departed the series.
Kenney stated Rossum’s absence “was weird at first for sure,” but she noted the “set became more of a positive place” after she was gone.
Rossum played Kenney’s older sister Fiona Gallagher on the iconic series. “I remember pre her leaving, I’d go to set some days and I’d be very anxious having a scene with her because if she had a bad day, she made it a bad day for everybody," The Conners star explained on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast Wednesday, October 13.
The 35-year-old actress announced she was walking away from Shameless after eight seasons in August 2018. She has yet to publicly acknowledge Kenney’s shocking claims of her diva behavior on set.
Production began on Angelyne back in early 2020, but was shut down due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. A release date for the highly anticipated series has yet to be announced.

The Phantom of the Opera actress and her hunky hubby Sam Esmail serve as co-executive producers on the project, which also stars Jefferson Hall, Brian Carpenter, Lukas Gage and Martin Freeman.
The 70-year-old singer and actress is notoriously known for cruising the streets of Tinseltown in her pink Chevrolet Corvette.
