Ramblers Take Home Hardware at State Soccer Award Ceremony

(KWNO)-The Cotter Rambler girls soccer team is getting ready for the state quarterfinal against St. Cloud Cathedral.  

Before the game kicks off on Wednesday, several Ramblers received statewide season awards.  

Olivia Gardner was named Ms. Soccer for Class A Player. The award is meant to honor the state’s top senior soccer player each year, based on their HS career. 

 All-State award – This is given to the top 3% of soccer players in MN. 

Olivia Gardner 1st Team All-State 

Allyssa Williams 1st Team All-State  

Ava Killian 2nd Team All-State  

Head Coach Marie Barrientos was awarded Section 1 Coach of the Year. The Ramblers match against St. Cloud Cathedral kicks off from Monticello High School at 5:30 p.m.
