The Cincinnati Bengals stunned the NFL world on Sunday by taking down the Ravens in Baltimore. Now the stripes are 5-2 and would be the No. 1 seed in the AFC if the season ended today.

Up next for Cincy is a date with the hapless New York Jets. Bengals fans can relate to Jets fans because, well — It wasn’t long ago that this organization was in the same situation that the Jets find themselves in currently.

Fortunately, the Bengals have a good quarterback who looks to be the long-term answer. New York might not be able to say the same thing about Zach Wilson, who might not even be suiting up in this one after sustaining an injury in the blowout loss to the Patriots on Sunday.

Bengals vs Jets Odds Week 8

WynnBET has the Bengals as massive 10.5-point road favorites with a moneyline grab of -540. The Jets’ moneyline grab is +420. Over/under is set at 42.5 points. This is the largest the Bengals have been favored in in quite some time but it’s not surprising. They just put the league on notice while the Jets are sputtering out of control.

Bengals vs Jets Prediction Week 8

It’s been pretty typical for the Bengals to flounder in games like this but we’re starting to see that these Bengals are different from the team we’re used to watching. Joe Burrow is the real deal, Ja’Marr Chase is unstoppable, and the defense is top-10 caliber.

Considering the Jets are likely going to be without Zach Wilson and even then weren’t looking good, it’ll be hard for Gang Green to cover in this one. Bengals win 34-14.
