Teen charged in shooting death of his high school football teammate

17-year-old victim was shot in the stomach in Olney basement

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A 17-year-old has been charged with third-degree murder in the shooting death of his high school football teammate.

Reggie Spencer is accused of shooting 17-year-old Kyleek Williams (pictured above) last week in the basement of his Olney home. Williams died a day later.

The two teens were on Simon Gratz High School’s football team and had just come back from practice, the victim’s family said.

Spencer is also charged with receiving stolen property and weapons offenses. His preliminary hearing is set for next week.
