Commuters using BART’s San Francisco line early Monday ran into a major delay after equipment problems on multiple trains, officials said.
Trains in the Millbrae, Daly City, San Francisco and East Bay directions all were affected. The delays were ran up to at least 20 minutes during parts of the delay.
By 9:15 a.m., the agency said delays were down to 10 minutes.
A BART spokeswoman later said that the delay was caused by equipment issues on trains and that it was all caused by the weather.
