Former Coronation Street star Kym Marsh has opened up about dealing with anxiety.
The actress recently took an extended break from hosting Morning Live on BBC One, and has now spoken to OK! about how she is currently doing after taking the time off following anxiety attacks.
"It's better," she said. "It's not completely right yet and I still do have my moments. It was coming for a while but it came to a head when dad got sick. There's a lot of people who rely on me in my life and it's a huge responsibility. I've always just got on with it."
Earlier this year, Kym's dad David was diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer, which led the presenter and her partner Scott Ratcliff to speed up their wedding to October 16 after he proposed in June.

Kym previously shared a film about her dad's situation on Morning Live, where he encouraged men to look out for symptoms and go to the doctor as soon as possible.
She added: "When you think about all the things that have gone on over the years – losing my son and various other things – I've never taken a proper break so I've taken some time out but I'm looking forward to going back to work now."

Kym explained that she is being supported by her family and friends, as well as saying that "Morning Live were amazing" about her taking a break.
She also praised her new husband, saying: "He had to deal with me when I was at my lowest, I honestly had a big meltdown and I don't know what I'd have done had he not been there to pick me up."
The couple met in 2018, after being introduced by Corrie co-star Anthony Cotton.
