REPORTER: THIS WILL BE A VERY BUSY WEEK IN DECIDING WHAT CAPITAL PUNISHMENT COULD LKOO LIKE IN OKLAHOMA. FIRST LET'S BEGIN WITH WHAT IS HAPPENING TODAY. THERE IS A HEARING SET FOR 9AM WHERE A JUDGE WILL HEAR ARGUMENTS FROM THE LAWYERS OF FOUR OKLAHOMA DEATH ROW WHO ARE ASKING FOR THEIR EXECUTIONS TO BE DELAYED. THEY ARE JULIUS JONES, DONALD GRANT, JOH GNRANT AND GILBERT POSTELLE. ON TUESDAY JONES HAS A CLEMENCY HEARING AFTER THE PARDON AND PAROLE BOARD RECOMMENDED COMMUTING HIS DEATH SENTENCE. GOV. KEVIN STITT SAID HE WILL NOT MAKE A FINAL DECISION ON JONE'S CASE UNTIL AFTER ATTH CLEMENCY HEARING. EARLIER THIS MONTH. THAT PARDON AND PAROLE BOARD DENIED JOHN GRANT CLEMENCY. GRANT HAS BEEN ON DEATH ROW SINCE 1998 FOR KILLING AN OKLAHOMA CORRECTIONS CENTER EMPLOY.EE HE IS SCHEDULED TO BE THE FIRST PERSON TO BE EXECUTED IN OKLAHOMA IN OUABT 7 YEARS. This will be a very busy week in deciding what capital punishment could look like in Oklahoma.On Monday, a judge will hear arguments from the lawyers of four Oklahoma death row inmates – Julius Jones, Donald Grant, John Grant and Gilbert Postelle – who asked for their executions to be delayed. >> Related: Lawyers call for urgent delay in Oklahoma execution dates pending federal lawsuitJones has a clemency hearing on Tuesday after members of the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board recommended in September to commute his death sentence. Gov.
