Propnight is a 4v1 prop hunt horror game that has just been announced as coming to mobile. So far, a beta test has already been run for the game from October 15th to the 18th on Steam. The game developers, MYTONA and FNTASTIC made the announcement on their official Facebook page. After a discussion of the Steam beta test, they made the announcement that a mobile version of the game has begun development. The Steam version will be released on November 30th, 2021, but the release date of the mobile version has not yet been announced, but they have said one will be announced shortly.
Conceptually Propnight is very similar to Dead by Daylight. Players will choose either between the 4 runners who take the form of high schoolers or the 1 killer. The 4 runners must work together to stay alive during the duration of the game while keeping clocks that will be placed throughout the map wound up.
What makes Propnight unique is that runners have the ability to transform into objects in order to disguise themselves from the killer such as pumpkins, tires, or chairs. This makes the job of the killer much more challenging as there will be many objects flying around to throw them off. There is also the ability to change from 3rd person to first person. This will make the game feel much more immersive, and increase the sense of fear that accompanies running from the killer.
Propnight is highly anticipated. During its short 4-day Steam beta test the game climbed to the top of Twitch with no marketing or budgeting and was received very well by players. The game uses top-notch graphics that will surely be transferred over to mobile. Once this game is released on mobile it is likely to become a top charts competitor.
