Fields was 22-of-32 for 184 yards with three interceptions and two fumbles in the loss. Afterward, he explained that he didn't feel anger internally. Instead, the 22-year-old Fields was eager to put the rough game behind him.

“I’m going to keep working,” Fields told reporters in Tampa. “Myself, no matter how many picks I throw, no matter how many Ls we take, I’m going to keep going. That’s just a fact. That’s just who I am. I’m never going to stop, and I’m only going to keep going.

“I’ve never been in this position where I’m losing, so I don’t know how to feel. My only reaction to this is to keep working. I’m not angry at all. At the end of the day, it happened.

“Just having that mindset where nothing can break you. Bend but don’t break.”

In regards to his first interception of the day, Fields explained he thought he had a free play because he quick-snapped the ball after being told in his headset that the Buccaneers had 12 players on the field, Adam Hoge of NBC Sports Chicago reported. Instead, Tampa Bay's extra defender got off the field in time.

The Bears (3-4) host the 49ers next Sunday at Soldier Field.
