We have been treated to the official trailer for the psychological thriller Hide and Seek, starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers (The Tudors) as Noah who seeks out his outcast brother, following the death of their wealthy father, to make amends and share the family fortune. Unbeknownst to Noah, his family harbors a dark secret that he must solve through a series of cryptic clues that leads him on a terrifying trail to the truth that threatens to tear him apart from the ones he loves the most.

In addition to Jonathan Rhys Meyers, the cast includes Jacinda Barrett (Suits), Sue Jean Kim, Mustafa Shakir (Cowboy Bepop, Marvel's Luke Cage), and Joe Pantoliano (Bad Boys for Life, The Sopranos).

The trailer shows that Noah is a family man who was his father’s favorite son. Although he’s warned to stay away from his outcast brother, who is the rightful heir to the family fortune, Noah can’t help but set out for Queens where his brother has been said to be living. Upon arriving, Noah quickly finds out that his brother has a bad reputation around the abandoned apartment building where he is squatting. He also finds out that his brother’s next-door neighbor has gone missing.

When Noah begins to confront those close to the family who may have the answers, he is met with defensiveness and cause to worry for the safety of his family. As the trailer continues, we can see that viewers will be in for a lot of twists, turns, and jump scares. When the trailer comes to an end, it appears that Noah’s brother isn’t just in it for the family's riches, but also wants to take over his brother’s life. But in a movie where everything is not as it seems, maybe that isn’t the case.

There’s only one way to find out and that is by catching Hide and Seek in theaters, on digital and On Demand beginning November 19th. Watch the trailer and check out the new poster below:
