The Giants’ second win of the season came against Carolina on Sunday, but it was potentially marred for Big Blue as they lost safety/returner Jabrill Peppers with an ankle injury.

Peppers was injured on a punt return midway through the third quarter, when he was tackled awkwardly at the Giants’ 25 yard line. He immediately grabbed at his knee and ankle, and Panthers players waived Big Blue’s trainers out to the field immediately.

The Giants also lost linebacker Lorenzo Carter earlier in the game with an ankle injury, and tackle Matt Peart also left the game briefly in the fourth with a finger issue, but returned on the Giants’ next drive.
