Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street has revealed more drama ahead for Abi Franklin following her plan to murder Corey Brent.

Corey (Maximus Evans) made it through Super Soap Week alive by the skin of his teeth, as Roy Cropper convinced Abi not to go through with her plan to kill him.

Next week though, Roy asks her about Harvey's gun. Abi assures him that it can't possibly be her gun as that was washed away down the sewer, but he remains unconvinced.

Later, Abi delivers Roy and Nina's wedding invitations and tells him that the wedding is a new start for her and she wants to put the past to bed. Roy is pleased about it after hearing her previous plans of committing murder for revenge.

Then, Seb's dad Tez turns up at her and Kevin's house demanding she returns his gun. She's furious when she admits that it's gone, ordering her to find the gun – or she'll regret it.

However, as he's about to leave, Kevin (Michael Le Vell) returns home and wants to know what's going on, so Abi lies and tells him that Tez blames her poor parenting for Seb's death.

The cover-up seems to work as Kevin is naturally furious on her behalf, but the lie is only about to get even bigger.

While that's going on, Kevin's young son Jack has found the letter she wrote for Kevin when she was previously planning to kill Corey. Will he tell Kevin?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, October 25, Wednesday, October 27 and Friday, October 29 from 7.30pm on ITV.
