Soap Characters who have the same/similar personalities.

After watching some Corrie episodes from 2018, I honestly think that Nicola Rubinstein and Alya act the same and even look kinda similar.
There a few instinaces of this in Corrie - for example, Beth and Cilla are super similar.
Nicky Wheatley and Katy Harris look similar and act a bit similar in their mannerisms.
Chrissie White in ED and Sienna in HO always striked me as similar types of characters - both have evil streaks and protected their demon children (Lauchlan and Nico)
Paul in CS and Aaron in ED remind me of each other.

Honestly in Daisy in CS reminds me of a lot of characters for different reasons. I always originally thought that she was Corrie's answer to Dotty in EE, both are slightly bitter towards a family member (Dotty to Sonia) and (Daisy to Jenny). Both cause havoc and distruction wherever they go and breaking up relationships.
However I always felt like Daisy and Meena in EE were very similar as well as Cher in HO. All of them were introduced at a similar time and have similar trouble making personalities.

Have you guys got any other examples?

    Daisy in Corrie is a Rosie Webster clone.

    Ronnie Mitchell (EE), Sienna Blake (HO), were more or less the same character in my opinion - Both had children at young ages, but were taken from them by their abusive fathers. Both had children which died. Both had very dark streaks, typically involving obsessing over children, to fill the voids in their lives. I’d also say Carla from Corrie, is similar to these two, as they all fit into the tragic heroine archetype.

    Archie Mitchell (EE), Patrick Blake (HO).

    Tracy Barlow (CS), Janine Butcher (EE), Mercedes McQueen (HO) - All play bitchy roles, and have often been public enemy no. 1 in their residences, and are regarded as the main female baddie, in each soap, respectively.

    All the battle axes of Corrie, have attempted to mimic their predecessors, but have fleshed out to individual characters in their own right.

    Richard Hillman (CS), Pat Phelan (CS) - Very different personality wise, but both stories were very similar. Richard’s crimes spiralled from being involved in a dodgy apartment renovation, similarly to Phelan when he returned, in 2016. They both left people to die, and then resorted to actually killing people later on, and the fact that both partners either were married to Eileen or Gail, who have been sworn enemies for years, is also a link that both characters share.

    Silas Blissett (HO), and Breda McQueen (HO).

    Maria in Corrie and Nancy in Hollyoaks. Likeable characters, loving mums, good to the locals (most of the time) but, unknown to themselves, a bit on the dim side.

    Bobby Beale (EE) and Summer Spellman (Corrie)

    Softly spoken, a bit anxious, goody-two-shoes (well apart from what Bobby did years ago)

    They’re from the same soap so more than likely she was modelled on her but:

    Becky McDonald and Abi Franklin are basically the same character. Both fiery bitches who you would mess with at your peril, bad girls gone good, they hit the self destruct button easily, and think nothing of getting weapons to settle scores. Becky would drink Abi under the table while Abi tends to use drugs more. Other than that they’re practically identical. Both come from rough backgrounds too and have blonde hair. Also neither are afraid to fight. Some might say Abi is a ripoff of Becky, i wouldn’t say that but I don’t think she’ll ever be as popular as her. But she is definitely Becky Mark 2. I don’t even think Kylie was as similar to Becky as Abi is and she was her sister!
