LOOK: Derrick Henry throws a TD to MyCole Pruitt on National Tight Ends day

Taking on the Kansas City Chiefs in the early slate of Sunday’s Week 7 action, it didn’t take long for Derrick Henry and the Tennesee Titans to get into the scoring column. In a game that should feature plenty of scores, thanks to the lackluster defense on both sides, it was the Titans who made the first move.

Not surprisingly, King Henry was the first to score a touchdown, but it was the way he scored that made this one unusual.

Lining up in the Wildcat formation in the redzone, the Titans snapped the ball directly to Henry in the backfield when he took a few steps forward before coming to a stop and finding tight end MyCole Pruitt wide open in the endzone for the passing touchdown.

The score was extra special since the NFL is celebrating National Tight Ends day.

Pruitt’s touchdown catch was his second score of the season and the sixth TD of his career. For Henry, it was the first passing touchdown of his career and the 11th total touchdown this season for the MVP candidate.
