Evacuation orders lifted in San Mateo County

SAN MATEO COUNTY, Calif. (KRON) — UPDATE: All evacuation orders in San Mateo County were lifted as of 10:30 a.m. on Monday. Below is the archived article.


Evacuation warnings issued in San Mateo County were upgraded to evacuation orders on Sunday, according to officials.

Evacuation orders have been issued for the following areas:

Residents should evacuate immediately.

Starting at 5:00 p.m., the temporary evacuation center at Half Moon Bay High School, located at 1 Lewis Foster Dr., will be moved to the Ted Adcock Center, also located in Half Moon Bay.

The National Weather Service issued a Flash Flood Watch and Wind Advisory to the CZU Lightning Complex burn area, increasing the potential for debris flows, downed trees and power outages.
