Steve Martin's recent murder mystery series has been hailed one of the 'best' TV shows of the year, having managed to rack up a perfect 100 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Only Murders in the Building is a 'comedic murder mystery' show that serves as a light-hearted parody of true crime obsessives, following three strangers as they attempt to solve a grisly murder.
A synopsis from Hulu says: "From the minds of Steve Martin, Dan Fogelman & John Hoffman comes a comedic murder-mystery series for the ages.

"Only Murders in the Building follows three strangers (Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez) who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one.
"When a grisly death occurs inside their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building, the trio suspects murder and employs their precise knowledge of true crime to investigate the truth.
"As they record a podcast of their own to document the case, the three unravel the complex secrets of the building which stretch back years. Perhaps even more explosive are the lies they tell one another. Soon, the endangered trio comes to realize a killer might be living amongst them as they race to decipher the mounting clues before it's too late."

After premiering on Hulu at the end of August, the series concluded earlier this week after episodes were released gradually.
Amazingly, it's already been renewed for a second instalment - which is hardly surprising, given the incredible response from audiences and critics alike.
After its season finale was released, many viewers said the show had been one of the 'best series' of 2021, with some saying it had 'one of the best cliffhangers in film and television history'.

A third wrote: "Only Murders In The Building is so excellent. Best series this year followed closely by Ted Lasso."
Many critics also praised the show, which has racked up a perfect score of 100 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.
Cinema Express writer Sajin Shrijith said on Twitter it had 'one of the best cliffhangers in film and television history', while Caroline Framke from Variety wrote in her review: "Like its excitable new detectives, the show is clever and gently weird enough to make an impression."

Collider's Gregory Lawrence concluded in his write-up: "It's a welcome commentary - and version of - many things you've seen before while synthesizing all of its individually familiar components to create something brand new. It's Edgar Wright meets 30 Rock. It's bold but calm, terrifying but comforting, sad but silly, satirical but empathetic - and it's all of these things served to you by chefs who trust you, because you trust them."
