Slavin recorded an assist for the third time in four games in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Blue Jackets.
Slavin has been surprisingly strong offensively thus far, and he looks intent on making up for a disappointing season last year (15 points in 52 games). He continues to see a ton of ice time (20-plus minutes per game) skating on the Canes' top defensive pairing with some second-line power-play time thrown in. Slavin makes for a good fantasy pickup right now, if he's still available on your league's wire.
