Northeast Philadelphia house fire leaves 2 displaced

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- An overnight fire left two people without a home in Northeast Philadelphia.

The incident occurred in the 7200 block of Rupert Street around 3 a.m. Sunday morning.

Initial reports indicated three people were trapped inside, but firefighters say everyone was able to get out safely.

The Red Cross is helping those affected by the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
