A 25-year-old woman was shot and wounded outside a Brooklyn event hall, cops said Sunday.
The victim was hit in the stomach, right leg and left wrist outside Kings Studio, an event space on Atlantic Ave. near Williams Ave. in East New York about 11:55 p.m. Saturday, cops said.
The victim told police she heard gunshots then realized she’d been hit, cops said.
EMS took her to Brookdale University Hospital. She is expected to recover.
A relative told the Daily News Sunday the victim returned from the hospital and is recuperating at home.
“She’s doing fine, she’s OK,” said the relative. As for the shooter, the relative said, “They will be caught.”
The small event hall typically hosts baby showers and children’s birthday parties.
Cops have made no arrests in the shooting.
