Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check NBCSports Edge’s player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.

Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 2W, 2D, 2UTIL, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL). Yahoo has a $200 cap for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

There are three games in the NHL on Sunday evening.

Forwards

Chandler Stephenson (Vegas) - C - $5,200 (FanDuel), $6,300 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo)

A great deal in both FanDuel and Yahoo, Stephenson has been the Golden Knights top point getter with four points as both his original linemates Mark Stone and Max Pacioretty are out of action with injuries. He has a pair of new linemates in Peyton Krebs and Nicolas Roy and should lead the Golden Knights in offense Sunday.

Kevin Fiala (Minnesota) - W - $6,300 (FanDuel), $6,000 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo)

Fiala has a goal and three points this season in four games and has back-to-back 20 goal seasons in reduced schedules the last two years. Fiala has 12 shots on goal and had 15 power play goals over the previous two seasons in just 114 games. The Wild take on Nashville Sunday at home and it could be a high-scoring night for the Wild.

Kirill Kaprizov (Minnesota) - W - $7,400 (FanDuel), $6,700 (DraftKings), $25 (Yahoo)

Kaprizov has yet to score after finding the back of the net 27 times in 55 games in winning the Calder Trophy as the NHL’s best rookie. This season, he has yet to score but does have five assists in four games. Kaprizov is an outstanding offensive threat and should be in your DFS lineup Sunday.

Bargain Bin: Jean-Gabriel Pageau (New York Islanders) – C - $5,000 (FanDuel), $3,500 (Draft Kings), $13 (Yahoo), Joel Eriksson Ek (Minnesota) – C - $4,800 (FanDuel), $5,200 (DraftKings), $19 (Yahoo), Reilly Smith (Vegas) – W - $4,600 (FanDuel) $4,700 (DraftKings), $17 (Yahoo), Lucas Raymond (Detroit) – W - $4,200 (FanDuel), $4,400 (Draft Kings), $ 17 (Yahoo)

Defensemen:

Roman Josi (Nashville) - $6,300 (FanDuel), $7,200 (DraftKings), $23 (Yahoo)

Josi picked up his second goal of the season on Saturday and has three points in five games. He won the Norris two seasons ago with an outstanding 16 goals and 65 points in just 69 games. He has 19 shots on goal this season and is priced nicely in FanDuel and Yahoo.

Alex Pietrangelo (Vegas) - $6,300 (FanDuel), $6,800 (DraftKings), $22 (Yahoo)

Pietrangelo is off to a bad start as he has yet to pick up a point in four games and has a minus-six rating. But the 31-year-old blueliner is considered one of the best in the NHL and it is only a matter of time before he breaks out. He had 52 points two seasons ago with the Blues before inking a major seven-year deal with Vegas before the start of the 2020-21 season. He is ready to explode.

Bargain Bin:

Jonas Brodin (Minnesota) - $3,600 (FanDuel), $2,700 (DraftKings), $13 (Yahoo), Nicolas Hague (Vegas) $6,400 (FanDuel), $3,600 (DraftKings), $13 (Yahoo), Moritz Seider (Detroit) - $4,000 (FanDuel), $4,000 (Draft Kings), $17 (Yahoo)

Goaltenders:

Robin Lehner (Vegas) - $8,100 (FanDuel), $7,000 (DraftKings), $36 (Yahoo)

The Golden Knights are off to a bad start as they are 1-3-0 and sitting at the bottom of the Pacific Division standings. Lehner is 1-3-0 this season and has lost his last three but Vegas gets a tired Islanders team on Sunday after they played in Arizona Saturday. Lehner has a 3.59 GAA and a .901 save percentage this season and will look to get back in the win column after losing three straight games.

Other plays:

Alex Nedeljkovic (Detroit) - $7,300 (FanDuel), $7,800 (DraftKings), $34 (Yahoo)
