NFL picks and predictions Week 7 | NFL lines and odds

Let’s look at the current NFL odds and lines entering Week 7 of the 2021 NFL season. A combination of mismatches according to the current NFL standings and the second set of bye weeks for 2021 has made this an extremely intriguing week for sportsbooks and for bettors trying to determine how Week 7 in the NFL will play out.

Sunday Week 7 free NFL picks and predictions

Here are the Week 7 picks and predictions and NFL odds for Sunday’s games as of 2 PM ET on October 21.

Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens (-6.5)

Time and channel: 1 PM ET, CBS

The Ravens are coming off a statement home blowout victory over the Chargers. Meanwhile, the Bengals eviscerated the Lions on the road. These are two good teams, and this is one of the toughest games on the slate to pick. It just feels like 6.5 is too many.

Bengals vs. Ravens Prediction: Ravens 27, Bengals 23

Washington Football Team at Green Bay Packers (-10)

Time and channel: 1 PM ET, FOX

The Packers keep winning, but they haven’t really wiped the floor with an opponent yet. It feels like this is the week Aaron Rodgers just lights it up for 300 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Football Team couldn’t score against the Chiefs last week. They are headed for a lost season.

Washington vs. Packers Prediction: Packers 38, Football Team 17

Atlanta Falcons (-1) at Miami Dolphins

Time and channel: 1 PM ET, FOX

The Dolphins chose not to take their bye week following their London game. The Falcons, on the other hand, are well-rested as they elected to take the week off after their trip across the pond. The Dolphins are in disarray, but I think they find a way to pull this one out.

Falcons vs. Dolphins Prediction: Dolphins 26, Falcons 24

New York Jets at New England Patriots (-6.5)

Time and channel: 1 PM ET, CBS

The Patriots probably should’ve beaten the Cowboys last week. The Jets are fresh off their bye, but the Patriots are primed for a bounce-back win.

Jets vs. Patriots Prediction: Patriots 24, Jets 16

Carolina Panthers (-3) at New York Giants

Time and channel: 1 PM ET, FOX

I hope the first month of the season didn’t fool anyone into thinking Sam Darnold was suddenly good. The Giants won’t have Saquon Barkley, Kenny Golladay, or Kadarius Toney this week, but they’re still going to find a way to win this game.

Panthers vs. Giants Prediction: Giants 23, Panthers 20

Kansas City Chiefs (-4) at Tennessee Titans

Time and channel: 1 PM ET, CBS

I have no idea why Tyreek Hill disappeared for 1.5 quarters of the game last week. But once he returned, Kansas City’s offense was humming. The Titans are primed for a letdown after their huge home win over the Bills. Chiefs roll.

Chiefs vs. Titans Prediction: Chiefs 31, Titans 24

Detroit Lions at Los Angeles Rams (-15.5)

Time and channel: 4:05 PM ET, FOX

Matthew Stafford revenge game! Wait. No. Jared Goff revenge game! Can there be a double-revenge-game narrative? Regardless, the Rams are the far superior team, and I keep getting burned by thinking the Lions can stay competitive. Here we go again.

Lions vs. Rams Prediction: Rams 31, Lions 17

Philadelphia Eagles at Las Vegas Raiders (-3)

Time and channel: 4:05 PM ET, FOX

This is your standard 3-point home-favorite line with two evenly matched teams. The Raiders had their signature win last week on the road with their new coach. Meanwhile, the Eagles flopped on Thursday night against the Bucs. With the extended rest and the bounce-back/letdown narrative working in perfect harmony, I like the Eagles to get it done here.

Eagles vs. Raiders Prediction: Eagles 27, Raiders 20

Houston Texans at Arizona Cardinals (-17)

Time and channel: 4:25 PM ET, CBS

I don’t like laying three scores with any team. The Cardinals have been phenomenal. They’re undefeated. They’ve blown out multiple good teams, including the Browns last week on the road. This feels too easy. And I’m getting suckered in here. I don’t see how the Texans keep up. Also, DeAndre Hopkins revenge game.

Texans vs. Cardinals Prediction: Cardinals 38, Texans 10

Chicago Bears at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-13)

Time and channel: 4:25 PM ET, CBS

Will Matt Nagy actually let Justin Fields run this week? Will he call a pass-heavy game against the NFL’s signature pass-funnel defense? The answers to these questions will determine if my belief that the Bears can hang in there is correct.

Bears vs. Buccaneers Prediction: Buccaneers 27, Bears 17

Indianapolis Colts at San Francisco 49ers (-4)

Time and channel: 8:20 PM ET, NBC

This is another game that is a complete toss-up. I can see this going either way. Generally, in those scenarios, it’s prudent to just take the points. However, the 49ers are coming off a bye, and the Colts are banged up at wide receiver. Roll with the home team here.

    Colts vs. 49ers Prediction: 49ers 27, Colts 21

Monday Night Football: Free NFL picks and predictions

Here are the Week 7 picks and predictions and NFL odds for Monday’s game as of 2 PM ET on October 21.

New Orleans Saints (-3.5) at Seattle Seahawks

Time and channel: 8:15 PM ET, ESPN

The Seahawks under Geno Smith are not a good football team. However, Jameis Winston should not be a road favorite against anyone. The Seahawks will continue to be competitive because Smith is good enough to keep them in games. They will also continue to lose because Smith’s signature move is the catastrophic mistake.

Saints vs. Seahawks Prediction: Saints 20, Seahawks 19
