Elderly woman dies after 2-vehicle collision in west valley

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police are investigating the 115th fatality-related collision in their jurisdiction for 2021.

On Monday, October 18, 2021, at approximately 2:57 p.m., a fatal vehicle collision took place at W. Flamingo Rd, east of S. Fort Apache Road.
Investigators believe a Honda was pulling out of a private drive when it was struck by an oncoming BMW. The driver of the BMW and passenger of the Honda were taken to UMC Trauma. The driver of the BMW was treated and released.
On Saturday, October 23, 2021 the Clark County Coroner said the passenger of the Honda -- an 88-year-old woman -- had succumbed to her injuries.
