FAIRBORN — Police have identified the man killed after being hit a by vehicle in Fairborn Saturday evening.
According to Fairborn police, the man was struck by a vehicle in the area of South Central Avenue near the Marathon gas station and the Shell station around 8:15 p.m.
Fairborn police identified the man killed in the crash as Samuel L. Terry of Fairborn. Next of kin has been notified.
A sergeant with the Fairborn Police Department told News Center 7 the crash happened when Terry, who did not have the right of way, crossed the street and was fatally struck by a vehicle.

Fairborn police said Terry was pronounced dead on scene.
