(WLOS) In a day and age where teams combining for a hundred points won't make you bat an eye, some scores still make you take notice. One such was Brevard College's win over Southern Virginia Saturday, 7-3.
The two teams combined for just 286 yards of total offense for the game, with the Tornados getting the lions share with 165.
The only touchdown of the game came early in the second quarter with the Knights leading 3-0. Taylor Jackson III faked a handoff and launched a bomb that sailed 60 yards in the air and connected with Derek Frazier for six.
The BC defense played with their hair on fire, racking up 9 sacks. Southern Virginia managed to nab a pair of interceptions for their part.
Brevard College (5-3, 5-1 USA South) will travel to Methodist next week before taking a bye and wrapping up the season at home against Averett on November 13th.
