It has been a long time since the Los Angeles Lakers won a basketball game of any type (not including the NBA Summer League). The last time the Lakers won a game they took a 2-1 lead over the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the 2021 NBA Playoffs.

The Lakers then proceeded to lose three games in a row to get eliminated from the playoffs, put together a busy offseason full of moves, lost six preseason games in a row and have started the 2021-22 season with two ugly losses.

While the Lakers are 0-2 and are already showing some cracks, it is not time to panic yet. That being said, we have already learned a lot about the Lakers this season.

There are certain players that might not last an entire season with the Los Angeles Lakers.

If there is one thing we can guarantee it is that Rob Pelinka and the front office will be aggressive. While they are limited in the moves they can make, they have already been extremely aggressive in trading for Russell Westbrook and will do whatever it takes this season to win a title.

Of course, more time needs to play out before the Lakers make any sort of moves and there isn’t going to be some roster overhaul a week into the season. However, certain players are already showing signs that they might not last all season in LA.

Let’s get into those three players.
