LAS VEGAS (KLAS)– A tractor-trailer carrying garbage overturned Saturday morning, causing a messy commute.
The crash shut down northbound lanes on the I-15 near the northern beltway.
Traffic is currently backed up to Lamb.
There was garbage all over the roadway & 40 gallons of diesel spilled.
Nevada Highway Patrol says that I-15 North remains closed at I-215 and Tropical Pkwy. Speedway event traffic should use Las Vegas Blvd.
Anyone attending the EDC event or traveling northbound on I-15 should expect delays.
