Man Causes Crash, Blames it on His Car | Chula Vista
10.22.2021 | CHULA VISTA – The male driver along with his young daughter was in the left-hand turn lane waiting to make the turn from eastbound E. H St. onto northbound Eastlake Dr. when the male driver of the Nissan came speeding from southbound eastbound Eastlake Dr. and attempted to make the turn onto westbound E. H St.
According to witnesses, the driver of the Nissan ran the red light, lost control, and went over the center divider, and collided with the SUV.
The SUV was sent backward and hit the minivan that was in the #1 lane.
No one was injured.
We overheard the driver of the Nissan tell the firefighters “At least I was driving crazy”. We asked him “How was this not crazy”?
He then said, “I was trying to make the “Yellow” light and this car has strange driving handling and suspension and can be difficult to control with both of the back wheels turning”
