Dramatic video shows Conyers officers saving man’s life after heart attack

CONYERS, Ga. — Two Conyers police officers, including a rookie in his first week of training, saved a man’s life after he collapsed from a heart attack.

Officer Huf and Officer Wright responded to a call about a CSX worker who collapsed on the railroad tracks.

Huf is a certified paramedic. Wright was in the field training program and had been in the field for less than a week.

Dramatic body camera video showed the moments the officers rushed to the man’s aid and performed CPR until the ambulance got to the scene.

EMS crews were able to shock the man’s heart and get it beating again.

Police said the man survived thanks to Huf and Wright.
