For the first time since 2017-18, the Boston Celtics find themselves starting out their regular-season 0-2 after being trounced by the Toronto Raptors Friday night.

Despite the fact that they lost against the New York Knicks during their season opener earlier this week, the Cs still managed to show glimpses of stellar production and solid potential with their efforts.

Game two, however, did not have the same feeling for fans, as they were treated to an outing that saw their favorite NBA squad be dismantled by the Raptors, with a final score reading 115-83.

After having witnessed the shamrocks endure such a disappointing campaign last year, many were under the impression that with the team’s numerous shakeups from this past summer they could be heading towards somewhat of a redemption run in 2021-22.

Now, while the season is still very young, as there are 80 games that remain to be played, losing two straight to start the year is certainly not how the Celtics envisioned things would go.

All night long it appeared as though Boston just couldn’t seem to catch their stride while the visiting Raptors, on the other hand, simply came out of the gates ready to ball.

Though the Boston Celtics did manage to keep it within striking distance during the first two quarters, trailing only by four heading into halftime, their second-half run from both ends of the court was undeniably putrid, as they were outscored during quarters three and four 64-36.

Throughout, however, there still proved to be a few members of the organization that gave positive contributions, though the vast majority of their players ultimately wound up squandering these efforts with horrendous performances.

With this, we at the Houdini present to you 1 stud and 1 dud performer from Friday’s blowout loss against the Raptors:
