The Daily Chop: Braves look to advance to World Series, Max Scherzer scratched from start, and more

The Braves are one win away from their first World Series appearance in 22 years.

The Braves host the Los Angeles Dodgers for game six of the NLCS in hopes of securing a spot in the World Series against the Houston Astros, who clinched Friday night after a win over the Boston Red Sox. Ian Anderson gets the start tonight and is seeking his second win of the 2021 postseason. Anderson has put up a 2.25 ERA in 2 appearances this postseason. A Braves win gives them their first World Series appearance since 1999.

The first pitch is set for 8:08pm ET on TBS.
