Community pitches in to clear brush

People in Rodanthe, Waves and Salvo responded to the villages’ civic association call to help with brush clearing along the pathway.
Two dozen people came to help Wednesday morning, Oct. 13, 2021.
Civic association board member Gene Stoel, above left, and President Tom Amatucci take clippings to the side of NC 12 for pick up.
The civic association makes sure grass beside the pathway is cut and edged and brush crowding the pathway is cut back.
