Several of the NY Giants’ key contributors on offense will be out Sunday against the Carolina Panthers, in Week 7 of the NFL season

The NY Giants and Carolina Panthers kickoff Sunday afternoon, and New York will be significantly undermanned for the second consecutive week.

Offensively, the NY Giants have already ruled out running back Saquon Barkley (ankle), wide receiver Kadarius Toney (ankle), and wide receiver Kenny Golladay (knee) for Sunday’s contest, severely limiting quarterback Daniel Jones’ supporting cast against a Panthers’ defense that enters Sunday ranked third in the NFL.

Toney’s departure in the first half of last Sunday’s 38-11 blowout loss to the Los Angeles Rams came after the first-round rookie had already caught all three of his targets for 36 yards.

Meanwhile, tight end Evan Engram (calf), wide receiver John Ross (hamstring), wide receiver Sterling Shepard (hamstring), wide receiver Darius Slayton (hamstring), are all listed as questionable for Sunday’s game.

Engram was a limited participant in Friday’s practice, after missing Wednesday’s practice and not participating Thursday.

Meanwhile, Ross’ only work this week was as a limited participant on Thursday and Friday. Shepardd and Slayton were each limited participants on Friday.

Keep an eye on this space Sunday, for when the rest of the NY Giants’ inactives will be announced for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers.
