Anyone who takes a weapon from another person should personally clear the weapon or make sure it is in fact, empty. Baldwin is not smart enough to know that and it cost a life.

Definitely check and double check, but why would you have live ammo on the set of any movie? What purpose does it serve other than to accidentally kill someone. Plus why would he have pointed it at the cinematographer in the first place? Was she an extra in the scene?

the only way to know for sure is to check for yourself . people are killed most often with suppose to be cold , unloaded guns. I'm checking . same as driving . don't tell me I have it ... I check myself .
