Oak Hill – Bluefield quarterback Ryker Brown had a career night, completing 14 passes for 291 yards and four touchdowns as Bluefield improved to 3-2 with a 41-21 win over Class AAA Oak Hill Friday in Oak Hill.
The Bluefield triplets of Brown, Amir Hairston and Jacorian Green were on full display as Hairston rushed for over 100 yards and caught a touchdown pass while Green caught five passes for 146 yards and a score.
The Beavers led 28-7 at halftime, hanging on for the win.
Oak Hill standout Leonard Farrow ran the ball 17 times for 89 yards and two scores in the loss.
Bluefield will travel to Ridgeview, Va. next Friday while Oak Hill will renew its rivalry with the Flying Eagles in Beckley.
