(October 22, 2021) –The New York Red Bulls (11-11-7, 40 points) head to Lower.com Field to battle Columbus Crew SC (10-12-7, 37 points) for the third time this season on Saturday, October 23. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. ET with coverage on MSG+, MSG GO, and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.

Coverage on MSG+ begins at 5:30 p.m. ET with the Red Bulls Pregame show. Jonathan Yardley will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Shep Messing and Michelle Gingras.

New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 5 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Stefano Fusaro will carry the Spanish play-by-play responsibilities, beginning at 5:30 p.m. ET.

The last time Columbus and New York met was on September 14, where Columbus won the matchup, 2-1. Since that match, the Red Bulls have been on a seven-match unbeaten streak, which includes two victories over rival New York City FC. The Crew are 3-1-1 in their last five matches, with the most recent being a 4-0 win over Inter Miami CF.

New York Captain Sean Davis recorded his fourth assist of the season on October 17 in the Red Bulls 1-0 win against New York City. He is New York’s active assist leader with 23 during his career and is only one shy of breaking into the top 10 in franchise history. During the club’s unbeaten streak, Davis has tallied three assists, which ranks tied for second in MLS during that timespan.

The Red Bulls have recorded a clean sheet in three-straight matches and have earned 11 on the season. Goalkeeper Carlos Coronel ranks tied for second in MLS with 11 shutouts. Since August 4, Coronel has earned seven shutouts, which ranks first in MLS during that timespan. The Brazilian goalkeeper is tied for second for the most shutouts in a single season all-time with Luis Robles (2013, 2016) and Bouna Coundoul (2010).
