Seminole County schools to go mask optional in November
Seminole County Public Schools announced Friday it would soon its face covering with parental opt-out policy. Officials said the change was due to "the current status of community transmission of COVID-19 cases within Seminole County."The face-covering policy will end as of Nov. 1 and from then on will be mask optional. "We continue to encourage care and caution as we strive to achieve normalcy in these unprecedented times. These have been challenging weeks as we have navigated the fluidity of the impact of the delta variant, and we thank you for your support and cooperation throughout the process," a release states.
