A homeless man was arrested today on suspicion of raping another man in an alleyway.
The attack happened at around 1.30am on Wednesday night as the male victim walked through an alleyway.
It took place near Medway Maritime Hospital and the Great Lines Park in Gillingham, Kent.

Police investigating the incident from Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate said they arrested a 45-year-old homeless man on suspicion of rape.

The Great Lines Park was cordoned off today with a large police presence of police cars and officers.
The homeless man remains in custody of the police.
A spokesman for Kent Police said: 'Officers remain in the area as part of their inquiries into the rape.
'We are seeking witnesses and anyone with information regarding the incident should contact Kent Police.'
