Seneca Falls, N.Y. — A Seneca Falls school bus driver was arrested Friday for shoving a five-year-old and causing the child’s head to slam into a glass window, police said.

David P. Crolick, 60, of Waterloo, was accused of shoving the unidentified child on Oct. 7, according to a news release issued by the Seneca Falls Police Department.

The school district contacted the school’s resource officer after receiving a complaint that Crolick had become physical with the student while on the school bus, police said.

The child sustained a minor injury to his ear during the incident, but did not require any medical attention, police said.

Crolick was charged with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child, police said. He was taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, for arraignment in CAP Court, they said.

Crolick began working for the Seneca Falls Central School District in 2010, according to state payroll records.
