Storms are expected to enter the state late Sunday and extend into early Monday. The main threat will be from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m.
The Storm Prediction Center on Friday placed much of Arkansas in a slight to enhanced risk for severe storms. At this time, it appears the worst will be across the northern half of the state and into Missouri.
The storm system is expected to bring cooler temperatures to the state through the next week. Highs are expected to be in the 80s on Saturday and Sunday before moving back into the 70s.
