Colts rule out 4 players vs. 49ers in Week 7

The Indianapolis Colts have ruled out four players ahead of the Week 7 matchup with the San Francisco 49ers.

The players that have been ruled out include right tackle Braden Smith (foot), defensive end Kemoko Turay (groin), cornerback Rock Ya-Sin (ankle) and running back Jordan Wilkins (non-football illness).

Head coach Frank Reich told the media following practice that wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (quad) is listed as questionable but unlikely to play after failing to log any type of practice this week. He told reporters Thursday that he’s “50-50” to play this week even though it appears he’s more doubtful than questionable.

While Smith was ruled out, there were some positive signs that he’s heading in the right direction. The starting right tackle logged his first practice on Friday since injuring his foot in Week 1. He’s not ready to return yet, but this is at least a positive development.

The Colts will release their final injury report with designations later on Friday, which should give a better idea of the entire injury situation entering the weekend.
