POLICE: Woman may have been shot accidentally in East Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF) -- Police are investigating after a woman was shot on Thursday night in East Baltimore.

On October 21, 2021, at approximately 9:37PM, officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.
Once at the location, officers located an 18-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the hip and thigh.
Police say her injuries were non-life threatening.
Officials say a preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was possibly accidentally shot by an unidentified suspect.
