In the latest TV show ratings, NBC’s The Blacklist opened Season 9 with 3 million total viewers and a 0.4 demo rating, on par with its previous averages (3.3 mil/0.35). Leading out of that, SVU (3.7 mil/0.6) dipped with Episode 500, while Organized Crime (3 mil/0.5) was steady.
Fox’s Thursday Night Football (8.2 mil/2.1) of course led the night in both measures, steady with last week’s fast nationals.
Elsewhere:
ABC | Station 19 (4.5 mil/0.6), Grey’s Anatomy (3.8 mil/0.6) and Big Sky (2.8 mil/0.3) were all steady.
CBS | Young Sheldon (6.1 mil/0.6) and Bull (3.7 mil/0.3) were steady, while United States of Al (4.3 mil/0.4), Ghosts (5.1 mil/0.5) and B Positive (3.7 mil/0.4) all dipped.
THE CW | Coroner (510K/0.0) dipped, while Legacies (340K/0.1) was steady.

The Live+Same Day numbers reported in our ratings column do not reflect a show’s overall performance, given the increased use of delayed playback via DVR and streaming platforms, plus out-of-home viewing. These numbers (Nielsen fast nationals, unless denoted as finals) instead aim to simply illustrate trends or superlatives. Warning: Contents may be hot!
Not surprise. SVU fans don’t care about seeing a Stabler knockoff returning. They should have brought back the original characters from season 1 for this milestone. That would have been so much better than some Stabler ripoff majority of fans didn’t like.
Sheldon was pretty good last night. As usual, Me-maw was a hoot.
Ghosts still doing [relatively] well!!
I think I may have fallen asleep before the end of Big Sky, but I can’t tell until I read an episode recap….
Wish Big Sky would do better
Nice to see “The Blacklist” returning so steady. Also glad to see that “Legacies didn’t drop further. Both were excellent “Big Sky” was great too. Nice to see that being steady as well.
Did anyone else notice that Jane Seymour and Jim Beaver were listed as being guest stars on “B Positive” but weren’t actually on it? The episode was only 18 minutes long so maybe they removed those scenes until the soft reboot for next week?
I really don’t like the direction “B Positive” is going as I’m not a fan of a romantic relationship between the two leads. I much prefer them as close friends who date other people. On another note, I’m glad “Ghosts” is holding its own since it’s my favorite new show so far.
i wanna believe when hope becomes the tribrid and wipes out malivore the ratings will grow on legacies cause a majority of fans have been asking for that the past couple years
Wow…These are really low ratings numbers all over for Thursday. I wish networks would keep that in mind and go easy on cancellations.
The prediction that Ghosts would swap places with B Positive when it proved incompatible clearly isn’t happening. US of Al is bleeding the viewers from YS. Ghosts should instead get its spot.
Hard to believe Coroner had that many more viewers than Legacies but still had a 0 demo.
I don’t know; having tent poles with YS and Ghosts at the top of both hours may be what CBS wants.
Ghosts is hilarious. Young Sheldon still marvelous.
Enjoyed the return of the Blacklist without the female lead. First time in a long while I was able to watch the show without fast forwarding through scenes. Red, Dembe, Aram and Park still my favorites.
