The Knicks will likely show more of the Julius Randle/Obi Toppin frontcourt on Friday night, as Taj Gibson is once again listed as out for New York’s matchup with the Magic.
Gibson also missed the team’s season opener on Wednesday due to the birth of his child, and while Gibson has rejoined the team, he will get another night off. Nerlens Noel also remains out with a sore left knee, leaving the Knicks thin at the center position.

Mitchell Robinson got the start at center on Wednesday night and grabbed 17 rebounds in 34 minutes of action in the double overtime win against the Celtics, while shooting a perfect 5-for-5 from the floor to finish with 11 points. He also added a pair of blocks.
Randle and Toppin played well together on Wednesday, helping spark a 21-6 run in the second half to help the Knicks build a lead by the start of the fourth quarter.
