Strictly Come Dancing's Judi Love will miss this weekend's show after testing positive for COVID-19.

The comedian and Loose Women panellist, who along with professional dance partner Graziano di Prima survived last weekend's dance-off against Greg Wise and Karen Hauer, is currently self-isolating.

A spokesperson for the show confirmed that if all goes to plan, Judi and Graziano will be back on the dancefloor for the following weekend.

"Judi Love has tested positive for COVID-19 and is now self-isolating following the latest government guidelines," the statement read.

"While Judi and Graziano will not be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing this weekend, Strictly Come Dancing protocols mean that all being well, they will return the following week."

Judi and Graziano were originally planning to perform the cha-cha to Olivia Newton-John song 'Physical' before this latest development.

Assuming the couple are cleared to make their return after this weekend, they will next compete live during the Halloween Special.

Meanwhile, Ugo Monye is expected to be back for Saturday after issues arising from his history of back problems ruled him out for one week. The rugby star, who is partnered with Oti Mabuse, offered an update earlier this week, revealing on It Takes Two that he's had a few injections into his spine.

For week 5, Ugo and Oti will be performing the rumba to Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak, and Silk Sonic's 'Leave the Door Open'.

Judi recently defended her co-star Adam Peaty, after some viewers speculated that the Olympic swimmer was leaning in for a kiss during his and Katya Jones' most recent performance.

"When you're a dancer, you are a performer... you're everything in that moment," she said. "And at the end, people don't realise you have to hold a pose."

Strictly Come Dancing 2021 continues on Saturday (October 23) on BBC One.
