Halloween Trick or Treat times in Logan County

Halloween is Sunday, Oct. 31 and the following towns will observe Trick or Treat hours. For those who will welcome ghosts and goblins are reminded to turn the porch light on.

Dressing in costumes is one of the fun ways to celebrate Halloween.

Area law enforcement reminds the public to follow some rules while out and about. Everyone should use caution while crossing streets and look both ways before crossing. Bring a working flashlight and have reflective clothing / bags to be seen. Walk on sidewalks or along the edge of the road facing traffic. Examine all treats for choking hazards and/or tampering. Only eat factory wrapped treats and do not eat homemade treats unless you know who prepared them. It is encouraged to have a trusted adult with children and to enjoy the time out.     

  • Lincoln - Trick or Treat hours are from 5 to 8 p.m.Sunday Oct. 31.
  • Mount Pulaski - Trick or Treat hours are scheduled for Sunday Oct. 31 from 5 to 8 p.m.
  • Atlanta - has set Halloween Trick-or-Treat hours from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31. Children are invited to visit homes with the porch light “on” as an indicator of where to find your favorite Halloween treats. Drivers are asked to be particularly aware of costumed children crossing the streets of Atlanta that night. Parents and children, please be safe and respectful.
