To say the least, the Knoxville Football Squad has a tall mountain of a task ahead of it. Just think Mt. Kilimanjaro and you will get the idea of the task that number class 3A #1 Harlan provides in tonight’s season ending game. Knoxville is making no bones about it, it will take a monumental effort just to have a chance. However, if you ask the coaching staff, they are not thinking about how to beat the Cyclones so much as they are making sure there are no regrets after tonight’s game, especially the seniors, who will be playing their final game of their football careers at Ken Locke Stadium. Interim Head Coach Chris Hudson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he hopes his seniors will take advantage of the chance to lay it on the line one more time.

Hudson: “I’m a big effort guy like everyone on the staff is. We’ve told the kids to give it all you got, and it’s bittersweet as they’ll end their careers, and we’re going to miss them, but excited of what will become.”

Hudson adds regardless of the outcome he hopes every player wearing black and gold realizes the opportunity they have in front of them and they do not pass up the chance to make a play. You can hear tonight’s game on 95.3 KNIA with audio provided on the KHS Activities You Tube channel at 6:30
