India's electric vehicle adoption is lagging because cars are considered a luxury, CEO says

Electric vehicle adoption in India will depend on three factors, according to Anish Shah, CEO and managing director of Mahindra Group. They include a lower cost of ownership as well as better charging and related infrastructure.
