The Power Rangers TV series will now be exclusively on Netflix. According to Deadline, Netflix has licensed the IP from Entertainment One and Hasbro which means that the upcoming second season of Power Rangers Dino Fury will be premiering on Netflix in the spring of 2022; after having its first season premiere in Nickelodeon.
Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers!
Season one of Power Rangers Dino Fury is already available on exclusively Netflix along with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Seasons 1 (1993), 2 (1994) and 3 (1995), Ninja Steel Seasons 1 (2017) and 2 (2018), and Beast Morphers Seasons 1 (2019) and 2 (2020). The entire catalog had been on Netflix, up until February when most of the catalog was taken off the streamer.
Season 2 of Power Rangers Dino Fury has a lot in store for fans with brand new characters, weapons, zords, zord combinations, and much more. A big part of season two will focus on Aiyon and Zayto unearthing more details about their home planet, Rafkon. And of course, all-new power-ups that include, but are not limited to the new Dino Boost Keys.
The Power Rangers TV show first debuted back in 1993, it was based on Super Sentai, a Japanese tokusatsu franchise. The Power Rangers TV series has been bouncing around from company to company; going from Fox Kids to ABC/Disney after the conglomerate acquired the Fox family and then finally landing on Nickelodeon up until recently. The series has also had about six different movies through the years, starting with Mighty Morphin Powers Rangers: The Movie which debuted in 1995.
I’ll never forget being in my backyard as a child and taking out something from behind my back that I equated to a Morpher and yelling, “IT’S MORPHIN’ TIME!” Jason was my favorite, initially, until I saw Tommy, the Green Ranger, then he was my favorite.
